After a recent trip in to town, I went to have a look around my local charity shops - it's a weekend with no homework, with plenty of free time and I'm not broke of course it's an excuse to shop.
I've been searching for a denim A-line mini skirt for quite a while, which would of course fit my budget. I went into Urban Outfitters, Topshop, New Look and even Primark (on a Saturday and let's be honest, it's total and utter carnage on a Saturday!) I thought about how I would be lucky to get a well made one for under £20.
Popped into my local Sue Ryder shop and only to find a beautiful, brand new denim A-Line mini skirt by M&S. After researching the product online, it came to the hefty price of £29.50.
My denim skirt cost me £3.95.
The skirt made a very cute addition to my autumnal clothing, however this cute little number can be worn with anything and at any time of the year making it an essential.
I put this with my thin, mustard knit style jumper (Atmosphere, gift) (anything thicker wouldn't compliment the figure however thick knitted tights would probably work, so for next item I put my pair of dark rouge thin tights (Atmosphere, £2.50 for a pack of 3), sort of creating a primary colored outfit.
For my final addition I added my brand new mock docs (Revolve, £5).
I also bought one of my favorite classic bands on vinyl, ABBA ( Sue Ryder, £1.95)
The vinyl was in total pristine condition - not a single scratch!
ABBA is one of my secretly, guilty pleasures when completing a mountain of coursework.
A new read was bought too, the Puffin's newly published version 'Of Mice And Men' (£0.95) and a new cute paper star light originally from IKEA (£1.95), all from Sue Ryder.
Cheerio m'dears, Lucy x
